Gmail access
The app reads Gmail with the gmail.readonly scope only, and only for the Google accounts the owner connects from the dashboard. It does not send, delete, or change mail in Gmail.
Where email content goes
To score urgency, email content is sent to Google Gemini. When a message qualifies for an alert, that content is sent to the owner's own WhatsApp. The app does not sell personal information and does not share it with anyone else.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Urgent Email's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use means Gmail data is used only to provide this user-facing feature: urgency alerts to the owner. It is not used to serve advertisements. People do not read the mail except the owner on their own dashboard, with the owner's consent, for security, to comply with the law, or when the data is aggregated and cannot identify a person.
Retention
Stored email records (headers and a short snippet) are kept for 30 days. Notification records are kept for 90 days. Older rows are deleted automatically. Full message bodies are fetched from Gmail when an alert is sent and are not stored in the database.
Deletion
Disconnecting an account in the dashboard revokes its token and deletes that account's stored mail. You can also email elyagoubiabdessattar@gmail.com and ask for deletion.
